MINDFULNESS WORKSHOPS
We have partnered with various yoga and meditation centres and trained yoga instructors in Ranikhet and Majhkhali to provide you courses, workshops and programs as well as mindfulness activities in this sphere. You can also use the facilities of an Ayurveda spa for services which complement the yoga. One of the centres has the concept of Artist Residencies to create cultural exchange for artists interested in human ecology or engaging with local community to influence their work.
The workshops and programs are run on mindful contemplation of nature and resiliency principles. The sessions are designed for different types of people to learn and experience secular practices and techniques first hand and can range from 60 – 90 minute sessions to longer sessions. Or can be tailor made to the groups. The sessions also introduce scientifically proven benefits of these practices on health and well being.
Group Size:
There is no restriction on optimal size of the group from 6 people up-to 40 people, as there is adequate space to set up the participants for practice. Individuals can be added to a group which is already practising based on availability of open slots.
Accommodation:
Though most of the centres have residential accommodation but eTara Trips can arrange for your hotels or village stays with families in the area too, for a more localised experience.
We have three options for you:
- Workshops:
The workshops are interactive and range from one to two full days. They are ideal for people who would like to bring the resources of nature connectedness and mindfulness to others as part of their professional work as health practitioners, yoga teachers, life coaches, project managers, or school teachers.These would be held close to nature in a garden, park, forest, botanical garden, farm or river. - Yoga & Mindfulness:
This is taught by qualified yoga practitioners. Yoga retreats can be organised, including village home stay. - Short-term mindfulness immersion stay:
This would involve a short stay at a Centre to learn about and start practicing mindful contemplation of nature. You can come individually and join existing classes over a long weekend for this. It is an ideal break from the city, while learning how mindfulness can change the way you manage stress and routines of everyday life.
